*Student Awards: AIComp 2026 is proud to offer up to four student awards covering the full cost of conference registration. If you are an attending student for a submitted abstract, please wait to register until you have heard from the conference by April 15th.

Visa Applications: The conference is officially registered with the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Special Events program. If you require a visa to attend, please contact us to obtain the necessary registration information before submitting your visa application. You must first be registered for the conference to receive visa application instructions.

Registration Cancellation Policy

Registration cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to registration@housing.ubc.ca. Refund requests may take up to 10 business days to process.

  • Cancellations received on or before May 31, 2026 are eligible for a 100% refund, minus a $35 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations received between June 1, 2026 and July 3, 2026 are eligible for a 50% refund, minus a $35 administrative fee.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after July 3, 2026.

Event Cancellation Registration Refund Policy

If the conference is cancelled at short notice due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the organizers, registration fees will be refunded to the greatest extent reasonably possible, after deduction of non-recoverable costs already incurred or contractually committed by the organizers.
